PTO Welcome

Welcome to the Leesylvania Elementary School PTO page. We are excited to have this page as a way to communicate to our members and community of upcoming events and activities hosted and sponsored by the PTO.

The PTO is open to all parents/guardians, teachers, faculty, and staff at LES. Membership is $10/family per school year. We look forward to seeing you at our LES PTO Sponsored Events as well as PTO Meetings throughout the school year.

PTO Mission

Our mission is to foster a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community where families, educators, and community members collaborate to enrich the educational experience of every student. We are dedicated to:

Family & Community Engagement: Creating opportunities for families and community members to actively participate in the school experience, fostering a strong, cohesive school community.

Educator Support & Encouragement: Providing resources and encouragement to educators to enhance their teaching practices, ensuring they feel valued and supported in their mission to educate and inspire our students.

Fundraising: Organizing and facilitating fundraising initiatives to secure the necessary resources that enhance the educational environment and opportunities for all students.

Together, we aim to create a nurturing and dynamic environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Lend your time to the volunteer network

Once a month, PTO members will receive an email from a Volunteer Network Liaison.

This will inform you of resources or volunteer opportunities in your child’s grade level in the month ahead.
